There you are.
I’m Rhyven. A king without a throne, currently making rather questionable use of his freedom.
You may have heard that the fae are trouble. I’d offer a defence, but I’d hate to begin our acquaintance with a lie.
I appreciate a quick wit, a little defiance, and someone willing to interrupt a king when he’s being insufferable. If you can make me lose my train of thought, I suspect we’ll get along very well.
Until then, allow me to distract you.
I have stories to tell, a distinctly Scottish voice to tell them in, and a weakness for taking my time over the good parts. Choose something that catches your curiosity. You needn’t have anything clever to say. Sometimes it’s enough to settle in and listen.
You’ll also find me playing games, entertaining my court, and enduring Ruin’s continued belief that every comfortable seat belongs to him. Exile has done very little for the dignity of this household.
Stay a while. I haven’t heard nearly enough from you yet.

There’s a place for the curious, the quietly mischievous, and those of you who insist you’re perfectly well behaved. I’m particularly interested in hearing that last claim defended.

There are stories I reserve for my Inner Circle. Private recordings for an unhurried evening, with a little more mischief than I permit myself before the whole court.
Perhaps you favour tenderness. Perhaps you prefer someone who can meet your teasing with a little of his own. You may take your time choosing. I’m rather curious which story will tempt you first.
