Rhyven steps into BLACKTAIL for the first episode of a dark fantasy adventure inspired by Slavic folklore and the origins of Baba Yaga.
The game follows Yaga, a girl forced out of her village after accusations of witchcraft. Her search for answers leads into a strange forest, where she must piece together her past and decide what sort of witch she will become. A bow and growing magical abilities give her the means to survive, but how she treats the forest’s inhabitants is another matter.
This opening episode begins a story with room for both compassion and cruelty. It’s a fitting setting for an exiled fae king, though sharing a woodland with another practitioner of questionable magic may turn out to be a poor arrangement.
Watch BLACKTAIL from the beginning with Rhyven, a Scottish VTuber, and follow Yaga’s path into the legend of Baba Yaga.
